REALIZE's YZF-R1

The current supersport models offer the highest level of performance. Thanks in part to various electronic controls that properly transfer the high power output of up to 200ps to the road surface, all of these machines boast outstanding turning performance. One might think there could be little room for customization in terms of improvement. However, It can pursue more higher performance and ride comfort by adding some light modification to the stock settings. This custom bike was based on the SUPERSTOCK class machine that competed in the Suzuka 8 hours Endurance Road Race.

The key point is how to use Ceracoat, which is REALIZE's specialty, for both heat dissipation and thermal insulation. By using it appropriately, it is possible to give the right effect to each part of a bike. The radiator and exhaust pipes are good examples of such applications. In addition, using HEL's brake hoses and other measures to enhance operability make the latest Supersport models more nimble and enjoyable.

Bodyworks

The cowls have been changed to CLEVERWOLF's. The appearance has been refined in various parts, and it has been highly evaluated for its race-specific design, which emphasizes strength while reducing weight.

Handle

The brake lever has been changed to an adjustable lever made by ACTIVE to improve operability. In addition, lever guards prevent any touches with other riders and also contribute to lever protection in the event of a fall.

Intake & Exhaust

The Akrapovic full exhaust was coated with a heat-insulating Cerakote. The exhaust heat used to be a burden on the rider during the Suzuka 8 Hours, but now it reduces heat transfer to the radiator and improves the cooling effect.

Engine

Heat-dissipating Cerakote was applied to the stock radiator and oil cooler. Even though the radiator and oil cooler are remained to be stock, the Cerakote is highly effective and recommendable.

Chassis

REALIZE released the upper bracket for the YZF-R1, featuring a design based on the YZF-M1 and adjustable handlebar's angle of 15 degrees front to back. It is available in race and street versions, and the photo shows the street version with a key cylinder bracket.

HEL Brake hose is brightly colored for a great dress-up effect, but are also flexible and improve touch. Stäubli quick connector is used for endurance racers.

Secondary engine covers are mandatory in the racing scene, and this machine is equipped with GB Racing's well-established engine covers. In addition to their high protection performance, they are also highly recognized as dress-up parts.

BABYFACE rearsets kit equipped, which is highly supported by street users as well as the racing scene. The high quality of the appearance and the high rigidity that can be used in the race scene are also attractive.
