On October 25, Yamaha announced the new 2023 MT-07 in Europe. The new model retains the content of the current model changed to the current model in 2020 but features a new full-color LCD meter. In addition, a quick shifter can now be installed as an option.
The meter screen can be switched between two themes: street and touring.
The MT-07, which will be restyled in 2020 with a single-lens LED bi-function headlight and comply with Euro 5 emission regulations, will feature a 5-inch full-color LCD meter for the 2023 model year.
It was announced on the same day that the MT-07's younger brother, the MT-125, would also adopt this meter, but the MT-07 features a changeable theme. The street theme features a bar graph tachometer and numeric speedometer display at the top of the screen, while the touring theme features circular round meters on either side.
The meter can also be connected via Bluetooth to Yamaha's MyRide app, which can display notifications of incoming calls, e-mails, and messages. In addition, the MyRide app can also record driving routes, distances, and maximum speeds, which will be useful for managing your car.
