On October 26, Honda announced the new 2023 CB650R and CBR650R in Europe. The European version is the 2021 model and is compliant with Euro 5, so only the colors have been changed this time.
In Japan, the new models will be compliant with the 2020 emission regulations and will be released in December.

The CB650R, which was unveiled in Europe, comes in a new color, Matte Dim Gray Metallic. Matte Gunpowder Black, Metallic Candy Chromosphere Red, and Matte Jeans Blue Metallic follow the colors of the previous year.
The Red and Blue have had their shrouds changed to a darker gray, and the Black has a completely black finish, even on the front forks and engine.
The new CBR650R follows the same color scheme as the 2022 model in Grand Prix Red and Matte Gun Powder Black Metallic. The coloring is almost identical, but the engine exterior is now black.
In addition, the matte black color has been changed from orange to light blue for the insert color.
It is not known which color will be introduced to Japan or whether it will be the original color, but information obtained by this Web site indicates that both the CB650R and CBR650R will be compliant with the 2020 emission regulations and will go on sale in February.
