Motorcycle & Industry

Kawasaki will be live-streaming the announcement of the Mira Show Press, which will open on November 8, on its official European YouTube page.
The URL is already available, and its thumbnail is a Ninja 400 and Z400 with the message「They are back!」
What on earth does this mean?

EVs and hybrids that have raced around the Suzuka Circuit are sure to be unveiled to the public.

The description of the YouTube video reads, "Attend the Kawasaki press conference at EICMA 2022 and listen to President Hiroshi Ito of Kawasaki Motors speak about future technologies and important products."
Other images include images of the Ninja 400 and Z400 and the message「They are back!」

The 2023 Ninja 400 and Z400 models were announced on June 1 in Europe, and have returned to the lineup in compliance with Euro 5 emission regulations. In Japan, they are compliant with the 2021 emission regulations equivalent to Euro 5 and were just released on September 20. It is hard to imagine that these two motorcycles, which have already been launched, will be the centerpiece of the 2022 Milan Show.

The future technologies that President Ito is talking about are undoubtedly the hybrid model with a parallel two-cylinder engine and the naked EV that was demonstrated at the Suzuka Circuit in August. Since the details of these remain unknown, we can expect an explanation of their mechanisms and commercialization.

And as for the important products, are there any hints about the two 400cc models that are thumbnails?
We await the announcement date with anticipation.

The two models already announced on June 1 in Europe are used as thumbnails for the live-streamed video.
We think the photo of the EV is closer to the image of the new motorcycle presentation.

KAWASAKI EV Mass Production Prototype. Last October 4, Kawasaki unveiled an EV naked at the Intermot Show.
The fact that it is a mass-production prototype means that it is sure to be on the market soon. The battery is much smaller than the 2019 prototype.

KAWASAKI HEV Prototype. The hybrid (HEV) prototype demonstrated at the Suzuka 8 Hours was equipped with a two-cylinder engine. The engine displacement is unknown.
