AMERICAN DREAM's Z1
It has been over 25 years since the shop opened in 1993. AMERICAN DREAM has been engaged in a wide range of motorcycle maintenance, customization, and parts development and sales, with a focus on Kawasaki Z series motorcycles.
Additional work was done to the frame to set up the mounting bracket for the cafe racer cowl kit. AMERICAN DREAM's original PRIDE titanium hand-bent exhaust system with a special ordered carbon silencer. The engine was equipped with a FALCON crankshaft and Φ74mm WISECO pistons. Big valves and YOSHIMURA ST-2 camshafts were installed.
Bodyworks
Newly installed AMERICAN DREAM cafe racer cowl kit (smoked type windshield).
The original seat offers a comfortable riding position, and it's one of the modern elements on this demo bike.
Handle
Magical Racing carbon unibody mirrors are mounted on cowl brackets. Clip-ons makes the riding position comfortable.
Engine
The frame is reinforced in various parts. The engine is equipped with a FALCON Z1000MkII crankshaft, WISECO Φ74mm forged pistons (1135cc), YOSHIMURA ST-2 camshafts, and big valves. The engine hangers are also machined aluminum. The carburetor is a Φ36mm TMR-MJN.
Chassis
The front forks are Ohlins Φ43mm. The wheels are MAGTAN JB3 3.50-17/5.50-17, changing from the stock 1.85-19/2.15-18.
The exhaust is AMERICAN DREAM's original full titanium hand-bent PRIDE. The special ordered silencer shell is made of carbon.
Rear shock is SII series of YSS. Drive chain is RK 530 with X.A.M sprockets. Moreover, under cowl, rear inner carbon fender, etc. are installed.
The steps are BABYFACE rearsets. Clutch operation is hydraulic. The starter cover and others were replaced with carbon parts.
