MOTOSALON's GSX-R1000
This GSX-R1000 custom would give you a strong impression. In this work, MOTOSALON used not only parts designed and developed in Japan but also many overseas products. These parts are compatible with older Supersport models, and in particular, suspension, wheels, and brake system consist of many parts develped by overseas brands. Among Supersports model riders, track riders tend to modify their bikes to improve performance, while owners who mainly ride their bikes on public roads rarely try, because such bike basically has high performance. However, the concept of this custom is to encourage Supersport riders, who mainly ride on public roads, to enjoy customization in the direction of creating a cooler machine.
Handle
The brake master is still stock, but the levers are made by Valter Moto Components and are slightly shorter than the stock. It is foldable to prevent damage from falling over and has an air vent hole.
The grips are racing types made by domino, an Italian manufacturer. They created it to pursue operability.
Intake & Exhaust
These dual slip-ons were imported from the German manufacturer BODIS.
Bodyworks
The up-type windshield for wind protection is made by Biondi of Italy. Its half-smoke windshield provides good visibility.
The design of the stock fuel cap is very uniform. In order to differentiate it from other bikes, they replaced it with a machined aluminum cap made by Valter Moto Components. The new fuel cap is lighter in weight and can be refueled without a key.
The seat is basically retained, but the cover has been replaced with a LUIMOTO's to match the color of the bike. Various designs are available for each model, and DIY work is possible as long as you have a tool kit.
The stem nut has also been changed to Valter Moto Components. This bike is equipped with gold, but black, red, and blue are also available. These parts accentuate the handlebar area.
The cowl is painted all over in white, with the Motosalon's logo faintly emblazoned on it. The frame and swingarm are also painted to match the color of the cowl.
Chassis
Secondary covers are mandatory in the racing scene. They are installed on this bike by GB Racing of England, a highly reliable manufacturer that is also used in SBK and MotoGP. It can also be used on public roads to protect the engine and hide scratches.
The Valter Moto Components axle sliders are installed both front and rear to prevent scratches on the swingarm and front fork bottoms in the event of a rollover. And the stand hooks are made by NEX Performance.
The wheels were changed to chrome Performance Machine wheels to enhance the machine's presence rather than to reduce unsprung weight. The brake rotors are also set with uniquely shaped Works Racing parts.
Stainless steel mesh hoses are a staple of brake customization. The hoses installed on this bike is made by MOTACC of Germany. They are slightly thinner than hoses made by other manufacturers, and is available in a variety of colors.
The rearsets are made by Valter Moto Components. There are several types of these rearsets in the lineup, and the one installed on this bike is the best version for public road use, Type 2.5.
