WITH ME's CB1100
The champion of the Suzuka 8 Hours 1981 was the Honda France RS1000, a racer replica powered by a CB-F series engine. To commemorate this event, the CB750F BOL D'OR 2, also known as the BOL D'OR or FBB, was produced in Japan in a limited run of 150 units based on the '81 CB750FB. The red frame, gold wheels, and red-and-white paint color are unique to this model, CB900F2 cowls and oil reservoir tank are also available as options.
This bike looks like a beautifully repaired and customized FBB, but actually not. This bike is produced by CB1100 Project F, a project that WITH ME Professional Racing has been developing since 2012. The concept of this project is to produce CB-F stylized full custom bikes based on current CB1100 (SC65), using CB-F look exteriors. The aluminum fuel tank, FRP side covers and tail cowl, modified CB-F's OEM seat, and CB-F tail lamps create a style that can definitely be called CB-F. As the concept suggests, this is a Honda air-cooled DOHC 4-valve sports machine that you can enjoy now without any difficulty, and it is one that you can choose with confident.
Electrical
F-type blinkers are an optional feature that reproduce the CB-F shape with a square type blinker. The CB-F style has been incorporated in every single detail.
Handle
The meter is the same as that of the CB1100, but it is not uncomfortable because it inherits the CB-F's integrated twin gauge. The navigation case is also installed here.
Bodyworks
The fuel tank is made of aluminum, which was created for the CB1100 Project F. It has a 14-liter capacity, and FI parts are also ported from the stock tank at the same time.
CB-F's OEM seat was modified and installed, and the taillight is also CB-F stock. The red and white color is to bring the style closer to CB750F BOL D'OR 2 (CB750FBB).
Chassis
The gold and silver rims look quite similar to the 5-spoke, backside Comstar wheels used for CB750FBB, but these are the CB1100's stock wheels, 2.50-18/4.00-18. The NISSIN 4-piston caliper and Φ41mm front forks are also CB1100 stock.
The dual exhaust system on the left and right are black Wyvern titanium twin megaphones. The simple rear shock, reminiscent of the FVQ shocks of that era, is also a CB1100 OEM part.
The frame and swingarm are red like the FBB, but braking systems like the rear brake and the chassis are remained the modern air-cooled CB1100.
