Custom motorcycles were also exhibited at the "Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2022" held on December 4 at Pacifico Yokohama, and many models from Japanese manufacturers, not limited to Harley, were used as base vehicles.
Here we introduce the Super Cub 110 Kai, exhibited by K-SPEED of Thailand.
Not a one-off after all this work, but a complete set for sale at (approx.) 9505 USD.
K-SPEED, which has released custom parts for the Rebel, CT125 Hunter Cub, and Daks 125, among others, is a custom brand that sells the work of Thai industrial designer Tanadet. The brand is gaining popularity for its design features not found in Japanese brands.
The K-SPEED CUB exhibited at the Hot Rod Show is also sold in Japan for (approx.) 9565 USD. It is based on a Thai-spec Super Cub, which was imported to Japan as a complete Thai-made vehicle, and is now being handled at 12 stores nationwide.
Even though it is a mass-production model, the K-SPEED Cub looks as if it were a one-off production model. While retaining the Super Cub's appearance, the fully covered body gives it an extraordinary atmosphere, and it has the power of a large custom cruiser.
Yet, the Super Cub 110, with its super fuel efficiency and overwhelming reliability, is still a safe and reliable vehicle. Unlike the Japanese version, the Thai Cub has front drum brakes and front and rear spoke wheels, and is customization based on these specifications.
K-SPEED CUB [K-SPEED] A complete custom based on the Thai Super Cub, which has the same engine and body as the Japanese Super Cub 110.
Two colors, matte black, and white, are available.
White has the same silver engine as the stock one. The swing arm has been extended and lowered. The exhaust is by Diablo, produced by K-SPEED.
The gauges were relocated as part of the overall lowering and lengthening of the suspension as well as the suspension.
The gauges are stock, and the LCD window can also display the gear position.
The four switches equipped on the Cub for cell, horn, indicator, and light switching were replaced with rugged general-purpose switches for a custom look.
The seat is also made by Diablo and has an elegant design that differs from the diaper-shaped Super Cub.
The headlight is an LED headlight for the Super Cub, moved from the handlebars to the body. Incidentally, the indicator lights are casually mounted on the fork covers and rear fenders.
