The 2015 Yamaha XJR1300 and XJR1300 Racer feature design updates heavily influenced by the custom world. These include a shortened and cleaner frame, a narrower fuel tank, and a smaller headlight.
Wrenchmonkees was the first to try their hand at customization with the new models.

Previous collaborations with Wrenchmonkees have provided valuable insight into this latest XJR model, said Shun Miyazawa, Product Manager, Yamaha Motor Europe. Their Yard Built XJR1300 'Monkeefist' is one of the 'fathers' of the 2015 XJR and has provided essential inspiration for modern design.

Wrenchmonkees has tracked down and modified some of the coolest and cleanest aftermarket parts to transform your motorcycle. We've also added handcrafted Wrenchmonkees parts, including CNC, milled Wrench Monkey's Monkey Fist style aluminum triple tree, engine covers, and more.

Further modifications include LSL Speed Match black aluminum clip-ons and Biltwell grips, a sleek MMB mini digital speedometer with yellow lights, and a unique custom WM yellow headlight.

A full Beringer setup is added, including hypersport brake discs, front and rear Beringer calipers, Beringer brake master cylinders, and corresponding Beringer clutch masters.

The finished motorcycle is sublime, coated in gloss black paintwork with the Skull Monkey tank emblem and a few simple gold touches, a fitting tribute to the 20th anniversary of this legendary street bike.

XJR owners can order Skull Monkey parts directly from the Wrenchmonkeys website to add authentic Copenhagen style to their ride.
