Super Cub C125 (125cc)Owner: Shiraru on
This corner introduces one MY BIKE submitted to Webike Community every week.
The model introduced this time is Honda「Super Cub C125」and the owner is "Shiraru on".
The Honda Super Cub is a model that even people who are not interested in motorcycles know, and its legendary popularity needs no explanation. It is also ideal for beginners, and many riders may say that their first motorcycle was a Cub.
However, as riders become more familiar with motorcycles, they switch to more serious sport motorcycles and larger displacement models, and some consider the Cub to be a practical vehicle for beginners.
Mr. Shiraruon, introduced in this article, was also disappointed at first when his senior motorcyclist recommended a Cub. He wanted a 250cc model, but what's a Cub? What a fool! He even thought, "What's a Cub!" But after doing some research, he fell in love with the C125's cuteness. He signed the contract immediately! The C125 has a retro design based on the C100, the first-generation Super Cub, but it also has all the latest user-friendly features such as a smart key, cast wheels, and LED lights. Mr. Shiraruon was completely addicted to the Cub swamp.
The horizontal engine, which shares its base with the Monkey 125 and Daks 125, is powerful, and its high running performance belies its cute appearance. In addition, the lightweight body with a low center of gravity, like a Cub, makes it easy to push around and switch between different types of vehicles. It can easily turn around on cul-de-sacs and narrow mountain roads, and it is extremely fuel-efficient. It's also perfect for a little adventure in an unfamiliar town or on the road! Shiraruon's C125 has also been customized with a long shield and offset mirrors for a touring style.
Please continue to enjoy this cute and fun Cub swamp!

The C125 was modeled after the design of the first-generation Super Cub, the C100. The headlight integrated with the handlebars, the fender covering the rear wheel flowing from under the seat, and other classic design features is full of charm.

The details are not cheap at all, with high-quality chrome parts, LED headlights, and high-grade cast wheels. It has the look and feel of a motorcycle. Customize it or keep the OEM style, enjoy the world of the Cub that accepts any way you want to enjoy it!
FROM MY BIKE COMMENTS
Motive for purchase
The motive was completely love at first sight.
I wanted a 250cc car and was excited to get my driver's license and choose a car model.
Take a look! I'll never ride one! I'll never ride one! What's with the Cub! He made fun of me! So I looked into it and found that the Cub swamp was deep, and the C125 was so cute!
I was torn between it and the CT125 until the very end, but the C125 was so cute that I immediately signed the contract.
Advantages
I have the impression of a child who has power and runs well. She is an honor student who does exactly what she wants to do.
When she starts at the front, she accelerates without bothering the motorcycles behind her, and when the motorcycles are going 40-50km/h, she seems to want to go a little faster. It is powerful enough to reach 70km/h if you are not careful.
I personally can run up to 60 km without stress.
It is easy to control even at low speeds, and since there is no clutch lever, it can be driven in first gear in traffic jams without tiring. It is reliable enough to stop even when braking suddenly when it is unavoidable.
The light weight makes it easy to maneuver. It is easy to get off the vehicle and change direction even on narrow old roads or abandoned roads with fallen rocks deep in the mountains or cul-de-sacs.
The high-class cast wheels, the shiny large OEM exhaust with great impact, and the need to clean it up! It makes you think, "I've got to clean it up!
But above all, I'm a Cub! But it's still a motorcycle! I love the feeling of I'm a Cub!
Disadvantages
Difficult to see backward in mirrors. I can see my shoulder and arm well. When I am going around a curve, I can see the vehicle behind me very well, so I think it's okay, but when I go straight, I still can't see it.
The tank capacity and loading capacity are small, but since I bought it with a discount, I didn't think anything of it.
I did not think anything of it. The first time I saw it, I thought it was a good idea.
I would like to have a 4L tank if I had to.
The rear carrier is small. If you want to install a large capacity box, you will need to use an extended carrier.
In the stock condition, it is not able to carry a large amount of cargo like a Cub.
The part of the steering wheel where the blinker light is embedded is a resin part. I am concerned that it will turn white with age and direct sunlight
I assumed that the smart key security could be unlocked by answerback (same lock on/off as the motorcycle), and after answerback, I removed the center stand and sounded the security securely.
If you start the engine, you can't open the seat, and if you try to remove the helmet from the helmet holder to warm up the engine, you will have to stop the engine unnecessarily. But if you don't know it, there are some things that you have to be careful not to do.
Address to prospective buyers
Idling seems to be low. The engine stalled several times immediately after starting.
Although it is obvious if the idling is not stable after starting and the sound has no power, lightly raising the rpm will immediately stabilize the idling.
