Suzuki has announced the 2023 models of its mid-sport naked models, the SV650X ABS and SV650 ABS.
There are no changes in specifications or equipment, and the only minor change is a color variation change.
The SV650 ABS and SV650X ABS will go on sale on February 3, 2023, at the same prices as the previous models: (approx.) 6275 USD and 6620 USD, respectively.
Silver is back on the SV650X!
The current SV650, launched in 2016, is a sports naked model with an easy-to-manage 645cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine. It is a popular model due to its multi-use capability that can be enjoyed in a wide range of situations, from everyday use to touring and sport riding. The SV650X, a variation introduced in 2018, is a café racer-style model with separate handlebars and a headlight cowl. Both models have been redesigned for 2022 to comply with the latest 2040 emission regulations, and the maximum output has been increased from 76.1 PS/8500 rpm to 72.0 PS/8500 rpm.
The 2023 model year will feature no changes in specifications from the previous model, only a new color scheme. The SV650X will be available in a new color, Matte Sword Silver Metallic. The silver-based color, which has been missing from the lineup since 2019, is back (with a different color code). The SV650 lineup is offered in three new colors: Reflective Blue Metallic, Glass Sparkle Black/Solid Iron Gray, and Glass Sparkle Black. Glass Sparkle Black is a continuation of the lineup, but details have been changed, such as the wheel color being revised to gold.
Released begins on February 3, 2023 (Friday) at Suzuki dealers nationwide.
Prices remain unchanged from the previous models: 847,000 yen for the SV650X ABS and 803,000 yen for the SV650 ABS.
