Yamaha will release the 2023 model of its large road sport XSR700. This time, there will be no model change or color change, only a price revision. The release date is Tuesday, January 31, 2023, and the price has been announced as (approx.) 7680 USD, up 510 USD from the previous model, due to soaring material prices and other factors.
Heritage color continuity reminiscent of RZ
Yamaha announced that it has decided to revise prices this time because it is difficult to maintain the existing prices despite efforts to cut costs and rationalize operations due to continuing unchecked exchange rate fluctuations and soaring prices of various raw materials and other factors.
Vehicles sold at the old price are those up to and including registration model「BEE1」and VIN number「RM41J-000902」. The new price will be applied to 2023 models with registration model「BMC1」and VIN number「RM41J-000903」that will be sold on and after January 31.
The 2022 XSR700, which will be sold with unchanged specifications and coloring, is compliant with the Heisei 32 emission regulations and has new tires, larger brake discs, various LED lights, and LCD meters. It is available in two color schemes,「Radical White」and「Black Metallic X」, and features graphics reminiscent of the popular「RZ250/350」models of yesteryear.
