Here is a "YAMAHA SR400" custom by Webike community user "ksk". The limited edition SR400, released in 2013 to commemorate the 35th anniversary, has a simple bodywork with a dark grayish green metallic color and a gold YAMAHA logo for a special look. The engine is an air-cooled single cylinder. Yoshimura exhaust is made of aluminum for light weight, and DAYTONA rear gas shock is a reinforced rear shock for the SR400, designed for better performance. Y's Gear performance damper also absorbs vibration well and improves ride quality and handling. For touring, two KIJIMA saddlebag supports are installed in addition to a DAYTONA classic carrier. Some riders may prefer to keep the stock appearance. However, one of the charms of SR400 is to enjoy customizing it in various styles by taking advantage of the abundance of custom parts.
