The annual motorcycle show is the event that marks the opening of the motorcycle season.
It is expected that motorists will see their new models for the first time at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show starting on March 24, the second of these shows. FELO's FW-03 looks just like that one!

Ex-Honda designer pays electric homage to the EZ-9, and you can ride it on public roads!
Zhang Jingyi, a founder of FELO Technology, an emerging Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, worked as a senior staff member at Honda in Shanghai before founding his own design company. He launched FELO in 2019 after gaining experience in product design for a major Chinese motorcycle manufacturer.
The EZ-9 was an automatic off-road entry-level vehicle with a CVT belt transmission and even a muffler built into the body despite its engine. The EZ-9 was a futuristic design with a CVT belt transmission and even a muffler built into the body despite its engine.
How the engine area was painstakingly integrated into the body is detailed in a separate article, but the EZ-9 is too far ahead of its time to be a suitable model for an electric motorcycle.
The FW-03 is an electric version of the EZ-9, as FELO stated in its press release that it was inspired by the EZ-9.
The specifications are down from those of the FW-06 released by Motorist in Japan, as the battery power has been reduced from 96V-58Ah to 72V-58Ah, and the maximum speed has been dropped from 110 to 80km/h. The rated output is 2kW, equivalent to that of a light motorcycle in Japan.
The rated output is announced overseas as 2 kW, equivalent to a light motorcycle in Japan.
This FW-03 will most likely be shown for the first time in Japan at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show.
Those interested should visit the Motorist booth.
FW-03 [FELO] For all intents and purposes, the FW-03 looks like an EZ-9. Unlike the EZ-9, which was designed for closed courses, the FW-03 is a public road model equipped with a headlight.
EZ-9 (1990) [HONDA] This is the original. It looks like an EV, but I was surprised to see that it was a 1990 model.
The engine was the same CVT continuously variable automatic transmission as the scooter, and even the muffler was built into the body.
The wheelbase of the FW-03 is 1200mm, the same as the EZ-9. The tire diameters of 100/90-12 front and 100/90-10 rear are also the same as those of the EZ-9. The rear tires are narrower than the EZ-9's 130mm.
Unlike the EZ-9, which had drum brakes, the FW-03 uses modern front and rear disc brakes.
The lights in the FW-03 are full LED. In EZ-9, the headlight area was a glove compartment.
The FW-03 is available in three color variations: green (pictured right), yellow (pictured left), and the EZ-9-image red and blue.
This version has a blinker on the handguard.
The rear suspension of the FW-03 uses a swing arm to provide a suspension stroke. It is unknown whether the drivetrain is the belt or chain drive.
The cockpit of the FW-03. This one appears to be a prototype version, with a round, old-fashioned indicator placed in the same manner as the EZ-9.
This is the cockpit of the EZ-9. The fuel tank is also built into the body, and the FW-03 has a smart key dial set in the cap and a meter on the handlebar.

The photo was featured on FELO's overseas social networking site, and he seems to be well-versed in Japanese culture.
