Equipped with KYB upside-down forks and Brembo radial calipers! 1890cc air-cooled V-twin to its strongest potential!
India's venerable Chief series first appeared in 1921. The new Chief Series, which took over the name in 2021, is a modern cruiser with an air-cooled 49-degree V-twin engine with a displacement of 1890cc. The previous lineup included the orthodox cruiser-style Chief Dark Horse, the bobber-style Chief Bobber, and the touring-oriented Super Chief Limited with a large screen and bags as standard equipment. With the introduction of the Sports Chief, the company now offers a performance cruiser category that can be used for more aggressive sports riding.

The Sports Chief is a sports model that became the performance cruiser category within the traditional Chief series.

Despite being a sports model, it has a unique style that maintains an unpretentious riding style and the dynamic of American muscle. Japan's release date has not yet been announced, but reservations have already begun.
The power unit of the Sports Chief is the same 1890cc Thunderstroke 116 (Thunder Stroke 116) engine common to the Chief series, but the suspension has been significantly strengthened from the standard model. The Chief gains an aggressiveness that allows it to handle high power thanks to the use of KYB inverted forks, Brembo radial 4-piston calipers, and piggyback rear FOX shocks. In addition, a newly designed quarter fairing, a single Gunfighter seat, and unique exterior features such as machined triple clamps and 6-inch risers give the bike's styling a sense of high potential.
Japan's release has been announced by Polaris Japan, which will introduce the model, and is scheduled to be accepted at authorized Indian Motorcycle dealers nationwide. Prices will vary depending on the color: (approx.) 240780 USD for the Black Smoke, (approx.) 24656 USD for the Ruby Smoke Stealth Gray, and (approx.) 24935 USD for the Spirit Blue Smoke.

The engine is a Thunder Stroke 116 air-cooled 49-degree V-twin common to the Chief series. Displacement is 1890cc and maximum torque of 162Nm.

KYB inverted forks and Brembo calipers enhance driving performance and allow aggressive riding even with a heavyweight body.

The distinctive cowl is a newly designed quarter fairing. The various lights are of course full LED.

Piggyback rear FOX shocks have 4 inches (approx. 100 mm) of travel and an increased lean angle of 29.5 degrees. This greatly enhances controllability.
