ICOMA's TATAMEL BIKE, which has been the talk of the town since it was exhibited at the Japan Motor Show and other shows, was customized into a monster machine and displayed at the Tokyo Auto Salon.
The motor coils are finally warming up.
The electric bike that one can almost hear the owner's voice is the Tatamel Bike developed by a Japanese venture company. Like Honda's motocomposites, the handlebars fold down and transform into a compact form, making it possible to load the bike into a motorcycle or store it indoors, and thus realize the ease of use that only electric bikes can offer.
The custom version displayed at the Auto Salon had its handlebars mounted low like a racer's and its output tuned up from a Class 1 moped to Class 2 specifications.
The owner has a sticker printed with "Monster Machine" and "Monster Machine" on it, which shows the concept he is aiming for.
Furthermore, on the front fender, there is a "Mt. Ikoma" sticker that may have been derived from the company name ICOMA (whose president is Mr. Takamitsu Ikoma), and the sticker tune is hot with Kanada's motorcycle in mind.
As an electric motorcycle of a healthy juvenile delinquent, it blended in with the Auto Salon venue.

TATAMEL BIKE Kai is an ICOMA employee's vehicle with a café racer style but with a futuristic custom look. The Ikoma Mountain design is a reproduction of the sticker on Kaneda Bike's Narita Mountain.

On the left side of the body is a sticker that reads "Monster Machine" or "Monster Machine.
The custom mindset of the engine bike, to be more powerful and faster even with electric power, is still alive and well.

As you can see from the pink license plate, the Tatamel bike, which is available as a Class 1 moped, has already been tuned up to a Class 2 moped; it looks like it has been powered up by POP's god hands.
New Mobility from a Toy Manufacturer
Mr. Takamitsu Ikoma of ICOMA came from a toy manufacturer background.
Later, after developing robots for home use and other products, he came up with the concept of the Tatamel Bike, which allows users without a parking space to fold it up and park it anywhere they want. The development, which started as a concept transmitted via SNS, received high praise from numerous users, and development continued with the goal of launching the product by the end of 2023.

TATAMEL BIKE [ICOMA] Vehicle deliveries have begun for the Tatamel Bike. With a 10-inch front and 6.5-inch rear, the size gives the impression of being between a Monkey 50 and a Monkey 125.

It can be folded and unfolded in a few 10 seconds. First, fold down the handlebars and stow the rear area.

Slide the seat toward the body and fold the stem part toward the body to make it suitcase-sized.

It is easy to carry because it has grips and wheels like a carrying case. The vehicle weighs 63 kg.

Body panels can be customized and enjoyed in this way.
