STYLE that erases the monkey-ness
The round twin headlights, seat, and seat frame also have some resemblance to the Zoomer. This was made with the concept of "using the Monkey as a base and incorporating Zoomer customization." It's true that if you do the same thing as before, you can't aim for the top.
So they took on the challenge with an original style and took second place on the day of the 2023 Enjoy 4 Mini Custom Contest. You can enjoy looking at various parts, such as the shape of the subframe and each part, and how the swingarm is reinforced. Not only the idea, but the bottom case of the front fork is integrated with the brake support, and you can also get a glimpse of the interesting structure!
HONDA MONKEY Custom
The twin headlights are taken from a Harley Dyna. The front forks are standard KSR ones that have been shortened. The stem is also made by G-Craft and is for the KSR.
The bottom case of the front fork is machined. It is integrated with the brake support so that the billet caliper made by Shift Up can be attached directly!
The one-off seat frame is just like a lowered Zoomer. It has a complex swingarm and monoshock, giving it a scooter-like style.
The engine uses a Daytona finger follower on the upper part and a Takegawa one on the lower part. It's a great combination of two very popular companies. The oil cooler mount is also superb.
The unique style of the swingarm shape and the way it is reinforced make this vehicle even more complete. The front and rear wheels are made by Douglas, and the rear size is 8.0J.
The exhaust system was custom-made and fitted with a slip-on muffler from MIVV. The stays are also kept to a simple length.
