[Overseas] The new Forza features a TFT LCD meter! The new model announced in Thailand has arrived

Motorcycle

The Forza 350, a middle scooter sold by Thai Honda Motor Company, has a new model. The styling is the same as before, but it gains a new 5-inch digital TFT meter and a new 4-way select switch. While the Forza 350 is not yet introduced in Japan, it offers a glimpse of the next specifications of the 250cc "Forza" for the Japanese market!

Competing with rivals in mind through modernization! High expectations for Japanese specifications

Honda's veteran 250cc scooter Forza has been in the lineup since 2000. Over its long history, which marks its 24th year since its release this year, it has been modernized with each model change. The current model follows the equipment and style of the overseas version of the Forza 350, which was announced in 2022, and is equipped with full LED lighting and a stylish fairing, as well as USB-TypeC power and a smart key, further enhancing its convenience. The meter uses two analog speed/tachometers plus a large inverted LCD, and the mechanical cockpit is also one of its features.

The new Forza 350 announced in Thailand this time has the same exterior, but the analog meter has been changed to a large 5-inch full-color TFT LCD, and functions such as HSTC (selectable torque control) information display have been added. In addition, the smartphone link function "Honda Road Sync" has been newly adopted, and the left-hand switch box is now equipped with a cross-shaped select switch. This equipment is being adopted one after another in Honda's lineup, and some models in Japan have begun to be introduced. As already mentioned, the current Forza model is the overseas version of the Forza 350, so there is a good chance that the next Japanese Forza will adopt this new equipment.

Speaking of rivals to the Forza, there is the Yamaha "X MAX" which is also a 250cc motorcycle, but this one has already adopted a dual-screen full-color TFT LCD from the 2023 model. Of course, it also has a smartphone link function and is one step ahead of the Forza in terms of advanced features. However, with the introduction of the new Forza 350 specifications, it will likely catch up as a strong rival. We look forward to further news on the Japanese specifications.

The Yamaha XMAX, which is in the same class and category, has already adopted a TFT LCD meter and smartphone connectivity. We are looking forward to the new features of the Forza.

A new adventure version is also available!

The Forza 350 in Thailand has acquired new equipment, but at the same time, an intriguing variation model has also been released. It is an adventure-style model labeled "The journey to beyond". It features digital camouflage-style graphics and a large guard attached to the front fairing and is priced at $5480.48, a little higher than the standard model. It is unclear whether this model will be available in Japan, but this challenging style will greatly change the image of the Forza, which is popular as a city commuter. We would love to see at least the parts available in Japan, but will they make it...?

The adventure-style Forza 350 also made an appearance in Thailand. Its large guards and camouflage graphics are innovative.
