2023 New Order Chopper Show's "Best of Chopper"
The New Order Chopper Show is a contest-style event, with the participating builders voting to determine the best. In other words, the winner is the one that is recognized by the professionals.
And the winner of the No. 1 award for 2023 is Masayuki Sugihara of Luck Motorcycles. He is a world-renowned builder who is also known for having been commissioned to customize a motorcycle by Flea, the bassist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and this is his third time winning the Best of Chopper award.
This time, the stem of the Hydra frame was extended by 1.5 inches, and an Early Shovel was installed on the frame with a single down tube. This is not just the case, but communication with the owner is essential during production. The rider's physique, preferences, and fashion are carefully considered before finalizing the details, so it is a completely custom-made bike. Everything is created for the owner.
Just before the custom show, the Harley-Davidson reporting team visited Luck Motorcycles' garage and had the opportunity to take some photos early, getting a close look at the actual motorcycle. It was extremely tight and there was no waste whatsoever. It exuded artistic beauty and had an aura that was so captivating that it was captivating to behold.
