Busca, a hot spring lover, goes hot spring touring with NX400 Part 2

Motorcycle

Before I give my impressions of the NX400, I would like to explain why I chose the 400X. Before I got the 400X, I had only ridden 250cc off-road vehicles. I chose off-road motorcycles because I liked the way they looked, they could carry luggage, the body was light and easy to handle, and they were economical, including fuel economy. Before I switched to the 400X, I was riding a Suzuki Djebel 250XC, and the mileage had exceeded 100,000 km, so I was considering switching. Just then, I found out about the 400X and took a test ride. It was powerful, easy to ride at high speeds, had better fuel economy than the Djebel 250XC, and looked cool. I didn't have a large motorcycle license, and I thought this was the perfect motorcycle for me to go on long tours and camping tours. However, if I were to buy one, I wanted one with an optional rear carrier. Then, I found a used one with a genuine top case and pannier case, and I made an immediate decision. I bought it less than six months after my impressions, and it's still the same today.

Busca, a hot spring lover, goes hot spring touring with NX400 Part 2

It has been exactly nine years since I bought it this year, and I have driven 70,000 km. I have driven it from Omazaki on the Shimokita Peninsula in Aomori Prefecture, across the Tsunoshima Ohashi Bridge in Yamaguchi Prefecture, across the Kanmon Straits to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine in Fukuoka Prefecture. Having ridden the first-generation 400X, I felt the following advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages
Cool Exterior.
High Fuel Economy (about 25 km/liter in town, about 30 km/liter in the suburbs)
The tank has a capacity of 17 liters.
Easy to drive at medium and low speeds
Light and easy to handle
Good footing
Riding position is easy
No trouble at all until now.

●400X Disadvantages
More on-road than I had expected (or, to put it another way, easier to ride)
Not very easy to maintain.
Difficult to add accessories around the handle
Rear carrier is treated as an option.
Main stand is treated as an option.
