Triumph Motorcycles Japan has announced the new Tiger Sport 660, which is equipped with a variety of advanced rider-focused features to further strengthen its competitiveness in the 660cc segment.
The exciting and powerful triple-cylinder engine delivers more than 90% of peak torque at all revs, and is equipped with the latest rider-focused technologies such as Triumph Shift Assist, cruise control, optimized cornering ABS, traction control, and a new "Sport" riding mode.
The vehicle will be priced from $7258.11, and will be available at authorized dealers from February 2025.
Equipped with technology above the midweight class
The new Tiger Sport 660 adds a new riding mode, "Sport," to the existing "Road" and "Rain" riding modes. Cruise control is now standard equipment, making the new Tiger Sport 660 suitable for relaxed highway riding. Switchable traction control and ride-by-wire systems help riders stay on the road in adverse conditions. Other standard features include optimized cornering ABS, Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, and Triumph Shift Assist (quick shifter with up-down shifting), among other advanced technologies that are usually only found on larger displacement models.
Sporty performance that captivates the rider
The 660cc triple engine that has become synonymous with Triumph delivers more than 90% of peak torque across the entire rev range, with perfectly blended low-, mid- and high-rev performance.
The new Tiger Sport 660 triple-cylinder engine delivers a maximum power output of 81 PS at 10,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 64 Nm at 6,250 rpm. The responsive throttle provides linear acceleration.
The slip and assist clutch enables smooth gear changes, and the new Triumph Shift Assist (up-down quickshifter) has been added.
