Benelli is an Italian manufacturer under the umbrella of China's Qianjiang Motors, and is characterized by its unique style that wraps Chinese power units and systems in Italian design. At this year's Milan Show, ambitious new models were announced, including a 400cc bobber equipped with a new engine. At the same time, a new 125cc class enduro model "BKX125" and a motard model "BKX125 S" with 17-inch wheels were also introduced as new models that are about to be released.

Both models share a 125cc water-cooled single-cylinder OHC engine. It has an output of 11.0kW (15.0PS)/9500rpm and a maximum torque of 12.0Nm (1.3kgm)/7500rpm. This power is equivalent to the European A1 license upper limit, which is equivalent to the Japanese 50cc class. It also complies with the latest exhaust gas regulations, EURO5+. The basic design of the frame and lights is the same for both companies, but the characters are greatly differentiated.

The enduro model BKX 125 is equipped to be called a mini-sized adventure motorcycle. The wheel size is 19 inches in the front and 17 inches in the rear, and aluminum spoke wheels are used. The Ø41mm inverted fork is fully adjustable. The front brake is a ø280mm single disc, and the rear shock can be adjusted for preload and rebound.

The exterior asserts a unique style that is typical of Benelli, and is equipped with a vertical LED headlight and a triangular position light. In addition, the BKX 125 comes standard with a rally tower-like meter visor, a large shroud on the tank side, and a handlebar cover, giving it a silhouette that is just like an adventure machine.

There are no domestic rivals for the current 125cc class enduro and motard models, so many riders will be interested in the two attractive models announced this time! Benelli is not yet a familiar brand in Japan, but some models have already been introduced in Japan by Proto. There is a possibility that we will be able to encounter it in Japan, along with the Leoncino Bobber 400 that was released at the same time. We look forward to further news.
