Yamaha Motor Co. will launch the new 2025 XMAX 300 and XMAX 125 models for Europe. Since the 2025 XMAX 300 is already in the Philippines, will the XMAX 125 model be launched in the Philippines soon? The new models are emission regulation compliant and the higher-end Techmax models each feature a single 4.2-inch TFT monitor, navigation system-linked functions, and a new electric screen.
MAX series middle sibling with 4 variations in Europe
The “XMAX” covers the middle range of Yamaha's “MAX series” of sports scooters: 125cc, 250cc, and 300cc. It is sold overseas in two classes, 125 and 300, and the 250 model introduced in Japan is the sibling of the 300 model. This XMAX underwent minor changes for the 2025 model year and was released in Europe first. In addition to meeting the latest EURO5+ emission regulations, the XMAX has been updated with various equipment.

It is newly EURO5+ compliant, but basically retains the same specifications as before.
The last time the XMAX underwent a model change was in 2023, when it was modernized with distinctive “X”-shaped headlights, full LED lighting, and dual-monitor gauges. The new XMAX shares the same basic styling as the previous version, but the “Techmax” model, which comes equipped with high-end features, has a new cockpit area. The instrument panel is now a single 4.3-inch full-color TFT LCD, and a Garmin on-board navigation system is available. In addition, an electrically adjustable screen enhances cruising comfort.
Color variations are the same for both the 300 and 125, with the standard model available in Icon Black and Tech Camo, and the Techmax model available in Ceramic Gray and Dark Magma, for a total of four color choices. Prices in the UK is about 6400 pounds (around PHP306,000) for the 300 Standard and 7250 pounds (around PHP442,000) for the Techmax, and 5500 pounds (around PHP335,000) / Techmax 6150 pounds (around PHP375,000) respectively.
