TRIUMPH has revealed the 2025 SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS, featuring subtle updates like enhanced engine power and OHLINS semi-active suspension, which have significantly improved the motorcycle's performance. Will it be launched in the Philippines soon?

The SPEED TRIPLE, introduced in 1994, is a large streetfighter that already has a history of more than 30 years. The SPEED TRIPLE 1200RS will be introduced in 2021 as the top-end model of the series, and while retaining the iconic features such as the parallel 3-cylinder engine and dual headlights, the displacement has been increased to 1160cc, and with advanced equipment such as OHLINS adjustable suspension, the SPEED TRIPLE 1200RS will be the flagship of TRIUMPH's flagship roadster.

The 2025 model introduced this time is a minor-changed model that was previously announced overseas. The displacement remains the same as before (1160cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder engine), but the output and torque have been greatly improved. Maximum output was increased by 3 PS to 183 PS at 10750 rpm, and maximum torque was increased by 3 Nm to 128 Nm at 8750 rpm. The exhaust system has also been redesigned.
Newly equipped with OHLIN's new generation Smart EC3 semi-active suspension, the OBTi (Objective-Based Tuning Interface) automatically adjusts damping characteristics according to body and rider behavior to provide sharp handling, agility and control. The brake system is by BREMBO. The brake system also features BREMBO Stylema calipers and MCS span-and-ratio adjustable levers for enhanced suspension performance.
Electronic control features a front wheel lift control function that can be adjusted in four levels depending on the rider's riding style. 6-axis IMU is used to control the motorcycle attitude, and five different riding modes (Rain, Road, Sport, Track, and Rider) are available to provide the optimum feeling for each riding situation. Revamped logo top yoke design.
