After winning the Germany-based IDM Superbike title in 2024, the Ukrainian will go for gold in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship alongside his bid for more EWC success with his new-for-2025 outfit, ERC BMW Endurance Team.
The 28-year-old has joined FHO Racing to ride a BMW Motorrad Motorsport-supported M 1000 RR in the UK’s premier motorcycle series.
“Adventure is out there, let’s go find it,”Mykhalchyk posted on Facebook. “This was really important choice in my career and I’m really happy to join FHO Racing and race in the BSB. The target is to learn all, fast, and do our best every race weekend. Big thanks to BMW Motorrad Motorsport and FHO Racing for this opportunity and new challenge.”
Mykhalchyk, a two-time EWC race winner, has also spoken about his move from the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team to the ERC squad, which is returning to the EWC in 2025 after one year away with BMW power and Dunlop tyres.
“I’m really happy to race in EWC with ERC Endurance,”he wrote. “We have the same target and we will share our experience with each other and do our best on track.”
Following the EWC season-opening 24 Heures Motos from 17-20 April, Oulton Park hosts the opening event of the BSB season from 3-5 May.
