News

MORIWAKI has announced the return of the “FORESIGHT” exhaust system with heat-dissipating fins on the silencer surface. The model is the XSR900 GP, and its first unveiling will be at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show to be held from March 28 (Fri.) to 30 (Sun.), 2025.

Bringing Back the Heat of 1983! XSR900 GP is Now an 80's Racer!

FORESIGHT, a favorite of Hikaru Miyagi, is finally back!

In 1983, the "MORIWAKI FORESIGHT" was born as an exhaust system with heat radiation fins on the silencer surface, and it became extremely popular in the 80's, known as the favorite of two-time All-Japan champion Hikaru Miyagi.

The unique shape of the FORESIGHT, with its T-shaped fins, has been retained, but what is surprising is that it is compatible with Yamaha's XSR900 GP. This is a surprising choice for Moriwaki, which is usually associated with Honda.

The unique "T-shaped fin" synonymous with the brand has been revived in the modern age.

The T-shaped fins were designed for cooling and sound deadening effects, and no similar mufflers can be found today. The fact that it is unique and one-of-a-kind has not changed even today.

Incidentally, many people may remember the "pen stand" that was popular alongside the muffler at the time. If you are a fan of the muffler, you will want to have this item as well as the muffler, and we hope that the pen stand will be reprinted as well.

First of all, we would like you to see the "FORESIGHT" reissued at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show.

Witness the resurgence of FORESIGHT at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show!
