BMW has announced that the 2021 models of its large adventure models, the R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure, was released on January 15 (Friday).
BMW's GS model celebrated its 40th-anniversary last year, and its popularity has remained unchanged, demonstrating its all-around ability for off-roading, touring, and adventure.
The new R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure are now even more sophisticated, innovative, and attractive thanks to a host of new features and equipment. (136 PS). Thanks to BMW Shift Cam technology, which adjusts the valve timing and valve lift on the intake side, the engine delivers excellent power at all revs, extremely smooth riding, and excellent fuel consumption and emissions figures.
In addition, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the GS, a special black and yellow "40 years GS edition" color inspired by the famous R 100 GS of the past will be available for both models.
Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) is now standard to provide the best possible traction and ensure a high level of safety. A new Eco mode has been added to the range of riding modes.
This mode helps the rider to be as efficient and eco-friendly as possible, allowing the rider to select their preferred mode in advance using the Riding Mode button, and also includes the new Dynamic Engine Brake Control feature. This system safely avoids braking the rear wheels when driving at high rpm or when downshifting, causing excessive slippage and unstable driving conditions.
BMW Integral ABS Pro is standard, as well as Hill Start Control, a convenient assistant system for starting and stopping on hills, which further greatly improves comfort when starting uphill and significantly enhances starting in all conditions.
