Yamaha Motor will exhibit its super sports motorcycle "YZF-R1" and "MOTOROiD," a personal mobility device that allows people and machines to resonate together, at "Virtual Market 6," the world's largest exhibition held in virtual reality (VR) from August 14 (Sat) to 28 (Sat), and will offer a free shared ride service that allows visitors to move around the VR world.
In this service, as a "new experience value offer" unique to the virtual space, virtual vehicles that can be ridden and transported in the VR space are exhibited, allowing users to experience the appeal of motorcycles and the fun of riding them. This is a shared-ride service that allows users to experience the unique movements, sounds, and exhilaration of motorcycles, as well as the build quality of the actual vehicle.
In addition to the virtual vehicles, a 3D avatar of the human-type autonomous riding robot "MOTOBOT" will be installed. Visitors will be able to ride around the venue as MOTOBOT on a motorcycle.
