Moto Guzzi has released the Aviazione Navale, a special edition model of the V100 Mandello sports tourer, limited to 1913 units worldwide. The model is decorated with special graphics based on the livery of the F-35B, a multi-role fighter adopted by the Italian Naval Air Force.
Twenty-eight of these models will be introduced in Japan, and orders will be accepted from June 20 (Tuesday). The price is (approx.) 16911 USD, and inquiries should be directed to authorized distributors nationwide.

Aviazione Navale means Naval Air Corps in Italian and commemorates the association with the Italian Naval Air Corps, to which Moto Guzzi founder Carlo Guzzi, Giorgio Parodi, and Giovanni Ravelli belonged. The figure of 1,913 units also coincides with the year of the founding of the Air Corps. The model of the design is the F-35 Lightning II, a stealth multirole fighter currently used by Italy, with stealth-like low-recognition gray paint, nationality markings, and anchor-shaped roundels on the cowl to indicate Italian Navy affiliation. It also comes with a special motorcycle cover and a commemorative plaque.

Moto Guzzi celebrated the launch of the V100 Mandello Aviazione Navale with a ceremony on the deck of the Italian Navy's light aircraft carrier, the Kabul. The event reaffirmed the strong ties between Moto Guzzi and the Italian Navy that have existed for more than 100 years. An image movie of Moto Guzzi racing across the flight deck, just as if about to take off, has also been released, and it presents a worldview that is irresistible to riders with a taste for the military.
