HONDA announced the "GYRO e:" and "GYRO CANOPY e:" as planned commercial models of electric three-wheeled scooters for business use that come with the "HONDA Mobile Power Pack," a replaceable battery. With this announcement, HONDA will launch the "HONDA e: Business Motorcycle" series of business-use electric motorcycles and three-wheeled scooters that use the Mobile Power Pack as a power source, along with the "Benly e: Series" of business-use electric motorcycles that have been sold to corporations since April 2020. GYRO e: is an electric three-wheeled scooter with a large, low-floor rear deck for convenient deliveries. it will be unveiled at the 46th Tokyo Motor Show 2019, and is scheduled to be released commercially next spring.
The GYRO CANOPY e: is an electric three-wheeled scooter that inherits the concept of the GYRO CANOPY, a three-wheeled moped scooter with excellent load-carrying capabilities that continues to be used for home delivery and other business purposes even now, 30 years after its launch in 1990. This model is scheduled to be released commercially next summer.

HONDA Mobile Power Pack
The HONDA e: Business Motorcycle features a replaceable battery, which can be replaced with a fully charged mobile power pack, allowing the motorcycle to ride without waiting for it to be recharged. In addition, business owners in a variety of industries can choose from electric motorcycles or three-wheeled scooters, depending on their use, and share the mobile power pack. Through these initiatives, HONDA will expand the range of options to include the HONDA e: Business Motorcycle, in addition to the existing gasoline-powered models, to support daily business operations.
