Functions
It minimizes the damage to the radiator caused by pebbles rolled up from the front tires and the clogging of the radiator fins caused by airborne dust. A fine mesh pattern is used in the center, where wind-up tends to be concentrated, to ensure protection. Both sides are finished with a coarse pattern to prioritize ventilation. The aperture ratio is designed in consideration of both cooling efficiency and protection performance.
Design
High precision hexagonal (tortoise shell) mesh pattern is adopted by etching process. The Yoshimura logo is placed in the center of the beautiful mesh pattern that draws Yoshimura's original "Y line". It is a perfect combination of dress-up and practicality. Yoshimura's original mesh pattern increases the opening area by about 11% on both sides and about 26% in the center compared to the general hexagonal mesh pattern. It provides excellent protection while ensuring a cooling effect.
Quality
Stainless steel (SUS304) is used, which is resistant to aging and rust. Sheet thickness t=0.8 mm to ensure durability despite its lightweight. In addition, this product is laser marked with a serial number (QR code) as proof of high performance and high quality.
