Motorcycle and self-introduction
[Self-introduction]
I am currently an elderly rider, around 40 years of age. I obtained a middle-sized license when I was a student. GB400 → RMX250S → Estrella → Majesty 125 → Address v100 → 200 DUKE → WR250R (X spec) → AEROX155 → SV650X
It's like I'm switching between on-road, off-road, and scooter on a regular basis as a result. I like to play around with it, but I can't do anything difficult. That's my level.
[Motorcycle Introduction]
This is SV650X of SUZUKI.
I got my large-size driver's license last year, and this is my first motorcycle. It's parked in my garage at home, but it's a small garage. I've been looking for a relatively slim on-road motorcycle because I can't easily get it out of the garage if it's too big.
Commitment to customization
[Direction to aim for]
Fake KATANA. Fake old motorcycle.
The concept of a neo-retro motorcycle is similar to an old model, but the performance is modern. I don't like to be the same as others because I'm bored by nature and I'm a motorcycle rider. I'd like to change the color of the whole thing, maybe purple lame? I also want to make it fit my body. That's what I'm aiming for.
[Points that I think are cool]
As you can see, it has a TANTO specification. The front end was disassembled the day the motorcycle was delivered and it took about two weeks to get the KATANA cowl installed. Surprisingly, I think it gives a more luxurious feeling than the OEM front end.
[Points of change in performance]
I am very satisfied with the windproof performance of the S2 Concept's KATANA cowl. When I'm driving at high-speed, the windscreen keeps my body from shaking.
I put TOMMASELLI's Clip-on handlebars. It can be adjusted at two points, which is pretty good.
This photo was taken on the day of delivery.
Custom Points
TANTO Top Fairing Kit
Brand: S2 Concept
For me, I think this the famous custom parts for SV650X. The appearance factor is the strongest, but the wind protection is surprisingly effective, and that's what makes me satisfied. It makes high-speed driving easier.
Adjustable Clip-on Handlebars
Brand: TOMMASELLI
The photo is after replacing the handlebar
The OEM handlebars on my SV650X didn't match my physique, so I installed TOMMASELLI's clip-on handlebars. This is a great way to get the itch out.
The photograph is before replacing the handlebars (STD handlebar)
It's STD handlebar, but I personally think it's a pretty aggressive tare angle even though it's not a SS.
Customization that I want to do in the future
Front Fender SPL
Brand: A-Tech
I just couldn't resist the cheap-looking front fender, so I ordered one. I am waiting for delivery! ((o(o(o)))) I'm excited!
I also wanted to get an under cowl, but some another time. So that's it.
Thank you Sanbo for participating in the Custom Motorcycle Contest! You will receive 500 points that can be used on the Webike!
