Meet the custom motorcycle of 'Shibu', who is riding on his MT-07!
Vehicles and self-introduction
[Self-introduction]
I've been riding motorcycles for about 27 years, starting with mid-size models.
The models I have owned are NS250R→RGV250→GSX-R750→GSX-R1100→GPz900R→ZX-11→CBR1100XX→MT-07. I'm currently riding my new MT-07, which I bought for the first time in my life. I mainly enjoy touring (and sometimes camping).

It's a 2015 MT-07 (ABS).
I bought it in December and the new model (minor changes) came out right away the following year. My previous motorcycle was a heavy CBR1100XX, but I was too lazy to get it in and out of the house etc, so I looked for a lighter vehicle and found this motorcycle.
Customization of the particulars
[Directionality]
Our motto is "fun to drive and easy to go far", and our basic policy is to keep the motorcycle as close to stock condition as possible. So, it's not so much about customization, but more about installing parts to make it easier. It makes the touring very fun, and it leads me to think "OK, where should I go next?
[Points that I think are cool]
I like the red line on the K&H high seat as an unobtrusive one-off. For the screen, I chose a lighter smoke color so as not to ruin the silhouette of the motorcycle.
[Points of change in performance]
Puig's screen and K&H's seat have made my long touring much easier. One of the not-so-good things about the MT-07 was the seat that made my butt hurt, so I bought a Y's Gear comfort seat right after I took delivery of the vehicle, but I didn't feel it worked very well, so I quickly removed it. After that, I tried the stock seat + Gelzab for a while, but this didn't feel right either, and when I found out about K&H's seat, I thought "this is the last time" and bought it, and it felt much better for me personally. I've stayed with it since then. Due to the price problem, I was in a situation where I had to stop here because of my financial budget. Now I can go touring to Kyushu and Hokkaido in this condition!

Customization that I want to do in the future
I'll be focusing on some easy customizations that will take me far in the future! However, the MT-07 is lightweight and fun to ride on mountain roads, so I'd like to think about customizing it so that I can enjoy the winding roads on the way to touring, such as a back step. After that, it's a matter of consulting with my finances. This year, due to Corona, weather and personal reasons, all the long tours were canceled. I can't wait for the warm season to come and I can go to various places again. Until then, I'll get through it with maintenance, customization, and my imagination!
