A new coach will take charge of the team.
The 12 Hours of Estoril marks the beginning of a new chapter for Swiss team Bolliger Team Switzerland. After 38 years at the helm of Bolliger Team Switzerland, Hanspeter Bolliger will be retiring after the final EWC race in Portugal, the 12 Hours of Estoril, and handing over the directorship to his son Kevin.
A new tire partnership with Bolliger Team Switzerland will also be announced at the race. From now on, all Kawasaki machines carrying the team number 8 will be fitted with Michelin tires.
This private Swiss team has become one of the most iconic and longest-running FIM World Endurance Championship teams since 1982, when it first competed in a world endurance race under the leadership of team founder Hanspeter Bolliger.
