Wójcik Racing Team will rely on all-Polish FIM Endurance World Championship line-up for the second season running in 2025.
The long-serving EWC squad from Poland has named Jurand Kuśmierczyk, Kamil Krzemień and Artur Wielebski along with reserve rider Mateusz Molik for its Formula EWC attack on a Pirelli-equipped #77 Honda CBR1000RR-R SP.
And while its Formula EWC bid will be its sole focus during this week’s 24 Heures Motos, team head Grzegorz Wójcik has announced “some surprises for our fans when it comes to the Superstock category and the #777”, with an appearance expected on round two of the EWC season, the 8 Hours of Spa Motos from 6-7 June.
Kuśmierczyk, 20, Krzemień, 25 and 32-year-old Wielebski are all multiple champions in their homeland, while 18-year-old reserve Molik won last season’s Polish Supersport 600 title. He also performed the reserve rider role in the 2024 Bol d’Or, which Wójcik Racing Team completed in sixth position among the Formula EWC contenders. Kuśmierczyk was Wójcik Racing Team’s Bol d’Or reserve in 2023 while still a teenager.
At Le Mans 12 months ago, Kuśmierczyk, Krzemień and Wielebski completed 787 laps to finish 10th in Formula EWC, Wójcik Racing Team’s first outing with Honda power. The trio then helped Wójcik Racing Team finish seventh in the final FIM Endurance World Championship for Teams ranking.
“We’re proud to once again field an all-Polish rider line-up at Le Mans and in the FIM Endurance World Championship,” said Team Principal Grzegorz Wójcik. “Last year, we began our collaboration with Honda by finishing 10th in the 24 Heures Motos. Since then, our #77 crew has completed every race, consistently fighting for top positions without any crashes or technical issues.
“This season, we aim to raise the bar even higher, although competing with factory teams is becoming increasingly challenging. For this round, we’re entering only with the #77 team, but we still have some surprises for our fans when it comes to the Superstock category and the #777 squad. First, however, we’re fully focused on Le Mans, where we’ll do our best to use the experience we gained last year and fight for a strong result together with Honda.”
The 24 Heures Motos takes place from 17-20 April. Ticket information is available HERE
