Race Report

The qualifying was raining and the road surface was in full wet condition. It has been the strategy that keeps setting up at a high pace and puts out time because it is the situation that the rainfall increases as time went on. There was a red flag interruption on the way, but still it is a challenge even in a short time. The grid won No. 11 in the best time of 1-minute 42-seconds 113.
Unfortunately, the rainfall increased, with the approach of Typhoon No. 24 and the schedule was canceled for the final day of the next day.
It has been a big experience to Keito Abe for riding while the situation remarkably changed.

The next race will be the race at the Mie Prefecture SUZUKA Circuit on November 3 (Saturday) and November 4 (Sun) at the All-Japan Road Race Championship final race.

KEITO ABE Players Comment

I was able to update my best for almost a second from Friday's practice, but it was very disappointing not to enter the target in 1-minute and 33-seconds at 169 for 1-minute and 34-seconds.
However, it is the thought that having a riding practice makes a lot to learn behind from the fastest people.

In the qualifying round, the road surface is in the wet condition. I wanted to put a new tire from the start, and to take out time before the rainfall increased, but the rainfall is increasing in about 10-minutes, and there was a falling motorcycle and it was interrupted by the red flag. At that point, the position was became eleven.

It goes through to think about how to get up while getting a grip and returning to the pit and changing the set variously, such as adjusting the engine brake, because the grip of the 2nd corner was not good.
It comes to the thought that riding to the second corner with various line-taking. The result was 11th place out of 24 motorcycles. After that, it was very regrettable to hear that the race was not done, and the grid of qualifying was better than before.

The next race is the SUZUKA Circuit. The thought that the SUZUKA Circuit wants to capture early in as short a time as possible.
Finally, thank you to all the teams, sponsors, and everyone who supported us.
Thank you for the support, till next time!

MITSUO ABE Director's Comment

In the pre-practice, it turns to ride without a 20-lap pit. However, there was a problem that the rear chatter ringed out when it started to bank at the 2nd and 3rd speed at the time of braking, but it was one of the best self-renewing at No. 16th of 758 for 1-minute and 34-seconds, and did not feel any other problem and the tone was in good condition.
After that, the engine brake of the 2nd speed is weakened slightly, and the tire are 10-laps as it is. The rear chattering has stopped and it has been replaced for a new tire. In addition, it seems that Keito said that there was nothing to worry about elsewhere and still be able to ride it comfortably because the engine brake of 2nd and 3rd speed is too strong or the rear goes out too much due to entry. And, the best thing is to update the self-renewing and be able to reach at No. 16th in 1-minutes 34-seconds 169.

The next day, it seems that the condition was still raining in the qualifying round on the 29th. And, made changed the preload only to the rain setting and removed front and rear, and started with a new tire. The best time reached at 11th place in 1-minute 42-second 113, even though it was interrupted due to heavy rain. Unfortunately, on the final race of the Okayama convention was canceled due to the prediction of the direct hit of the typhoon in the final day of the 30th.

It is the day at the Okayama Convention were in the state was maddened by rain and typhoon, but the 14-year old rider was regretting himself because it has been impossible to put it in the 41-seconds with the rain at 1-minute 33-seconds in dry condition, though it is the thought that riding at his age without a lot of experience gives a big result and to achieve a good experience. In the next SUZUKA battle, by working hard and practice well in order to be prepared for the next round to ensure a good result.
