I did test ride Kawasaki Ninja 250 for oversea model (Not for Japan).
First of all , let's check about appearance.

This is 3rd generation in Ninja 250 series and progresses a lot.
All of engine, chassis and design has fully changed.
It became edgy design.
First impression was very light when I rode.
Chassis is very slim.

Conventional model was little bit heavy and bigger than new model.
Riding position was also like tourer position.
All of those points became slim and compact.
Especially around tank became very slim and small.
I tested at AUTOPOLIS in Kyushu at this time.
Engine response is very good.

Conventional model engine was also high rpm oriented engine, but this new engine is much higher rpm oriented engine.
Maximum horse power is output at the 12500 rpm. This is 1500 rpm higher than conventional model.
Maximum horsepower is 39 hp and this is the strongest in the same category bikes.
It has risen 8hp than last model.
Vehicle weight was 7 kg lighter.
Actually it was so fast when I rode in the circuit.
I made 160km/h from meter reading.
Handling is very light.
Wheelbase was shorter.
Caster angle is made more angled.
Swingarm became longer about 40mm.
These are like super sports's dimension.
It has become more fun bike to ride on the circuit.

Seat height became 10mm higher but I can't feel the difference.
I can touch the ground easily with my feet.
Suspention is also very good.
Tank's shape is very slim about 15mm slimmer.
The slimness is like a single engine chassis.
My feet touches on the ground very easily because tank is very slim.
Next is about riding position.
Handle is little bit lower and closed angle.
I heard that step position has been changed little bit forward.
It was made to very comfortable and easy control position based on ergonomics.
You can make many riding position easily such as position at high speed riding and touring.
In summary, new model Ninja 250 became very cool design,
Engine became very strong and powerful,
Chassis dimension became very sporty.
Compared to conventional model, I can not find any negative point. It's very high quality model.
This bike is one of the strongest motorcycle in very popular 250cc racing scene in Japan now.
