・Motorcycle History/How to Enjoy it everyday
I started riding a motorcycle at the age of 19 using YAMAHA YB-1→YAMAHA JOG APRIO→KAWASAKI ZEPHYR X at the age of 23 (2000 Fireball Color)→Got stolen after 13 years→I borrowed YAMAHA DS400 at the age of 38→Afer 3 months, I wanted my bike and bought KAWASAKI ZEPHYR X (2009 Final Type Fireball Color)→At the age of 41, I wanted to customize it with a specification of Hiroshima Prefecture made of full costomization except for the carburetor and the engine part.
・How long have you been riding on this motorcycle?
I had been riding this motorcycle since I was 23 to 36 years old. And I quit when I was 38 up to now.
・Reasons of Buying this model
When I was 23, I has no legs, and my dad's collegue just talked about buying it which I did personally. Since then, I had a lot of trouble and has a great time with my motorcycle at the same time but it was stolen from me when I was 36. I found only its frame and engine. I really wanted to ride again when I was 38. Then, I found a second-hand 2009 model motorcycle with the same model and color and has 5,000km odometer. I immediately made a contract with the first owner. There are various of second-hand motorcycle recently. The main purpose of buying this motorcycle is for daily transportation and for touring.
2.[Satisfactory Point/Advantage]
・As for application
Naked Motorcycle as the same with training vehicle and HONDA CB400. It is more compact than the CB400, and it has a sticky ride thanks to the air-cooled engine and the slightly dull carburetor's dandruff, a characteristic of a ZEPHYR. Because of that, it makes the motorcycle versatile from city riding to touring.
・For Travel
It is heavier than the current mid-range motorcycle but it is tough and durable. There is nothing wrong with a normal ride. The seat height is 780mm high so it is good for my legs. The rider is on it not because of its operability but it operates with one beat peculiar to an air-cooled carburetor motorcycle. This is a motorcycle that the rider can play the main role when riding.
・For the Appearance
This is a motorcycle that seems to be a standard motorcycle with a look of original scenery so you can ride it anywhere. This was formed and shaped that is almost called as Naked. It does not have an aggressive look just like the latest Naked model but it has the appearance of the originator of the Naked model "ZEPHYR".

3. [Unsatisfactory/Disadvantages]
・As for Application
Nothing special, but only the unavailability of the center stand on the OEM options. Maintenance and loading are difficult.
・For Travel
The operability=not agile which is one beat peculiar to the air-cooled carburetor motorcycle. It is slower and heavier than the 400cc naked of the same year as other manufacturers. It is stil an issue to a versatile motorcycle called Naked and the wind is still difficult durng
・For Appearance
It is perfect enough even it is standard but there are only two poles, the rare race and the runner.

ZEPHYR X is a famous motorcycle of KAWASAKI equipped with an air-cooled 4-cylinder engine, 4-stroke, DOHC, carburetor specification which started in Heisei Era and created a category called Naked. The OEM STD allrounder motorcycle boast a 780mm outstanding foot attachment that is friendly to everyone, and very easy to ride as well as for beginners.
It is a motorcycle that started to be categorized as an old model, has been properly maintained and can run without any dissatisfaction. It is cheper than Z1 and Z2, and it is still equipped with a lot of bulbs. How about in shops that are specializing in ZEPHYR?
