HONDA CBR1000RR Owner's Review
We will introduce Mr. Joni's passionate story about his riding experience with his beloved motorcycle, CBR1000RR, from Webike community "My Beloved Moto" campaign. He shared with us the advantages and disadvantages review of the CBR1000RR, which he knows well because he's the owner.
[Joni's Brief Introduction]
・Motorcycle history and how I usually enjoy my motorcycle.
I've been riding motorcycles for 12 years! At the age of 16, I got a regular motorcycle license and was riding on the CB400SF. I have a passion for litter sports since that time, and get a large motorcycle license at the age of 18! As it is, I switched to the CBR1000RR that I am introducing this article. I'm looking forward to going out to various places and certainly deepening my understanding by doing maintenance etc. by myself.
・Period of riding this motorcycle
About 10 years ago, I got my large motorcycle license and delivered it! Even now, I am riding around cheerfully. And still, I'll be riding on the CBR1000RR!
・Purchasing motivation
Actually, when I got interested in motorcycles, I wasn't interested in super sports at all. A feeling of "a motorcycle like a speedy hairdryer". However, when I saw the motorcycle for the first time in mass touring, I changed completely, at how cool motorcycle it was! I couldn't get enough of the big displacement, bass-driven ride.
Then, while researching about liter sports from various manufacturers, I found the CBR1000RR. It was literally love at first sight. Stylish body line, headlights also handsome modeling. Most importantly, the center-up exhaust looked so cool that I couldn't help it. I obtained and purchased a large motorcycle license to ride a CBR.
And despite being super sport, the actual use is only to go to school to and mass touring. I didn't feel like I'm going to the circuit at all. Nowadays, I'm starting to think that the circuit seems to be fun... (lol)
Advantages
・For applications
When it comes to super sport, it is a motorcycle that sacrificed everything else for the sake of a tight position and speed. Although there are such an reviews, it is possible to tour more than 400km one way without difficulty, and there is no problem in the city riding because there is enough torque due to the large displacement. Naturally, I can ride comfortably on the mountain pass roads, etc., so I feel that I'm really an all-rounder.
・For riding
CBR1000RR is not an exaggeration to say that this motorcycle has been pursuing good performance! You can really enjoy even a little outing. The CBR1000RR has a very large amount of power, but it's not so peaky either, and it's strange that it doesn't require such severe or nervous handling. Let's throw away the concept of a "speedy motorcycle"! No, once you ride this motorcycle, that concept will naturally disappear.
・For appearance
Personally, the appearance is so perfect! The shape of the headlights are also appropriately angled (hawk-eye) a word of handsome. The shape of the side cowl is not too shiny and it's not spiky, so it looks very stylish impression. And above all, the center up exhaust! This structure, which is said that have been adopted by the manufacturer because it is "cool", it is really cool. The center up exhaust is also available for the CBR600RR, etc., and the shape of the taillights matches well, and I still feel that the sculpting around the tail of the CBR1000RR is the nicest thing about it. (lol)
Also, the "appearance" of my beloved motorcycle will also be a point in coloring. It was also love at first sight in this coloring [infinite color] which had become a limited model of 100 motorcycles. The red line in gradation on the black base was very cool and I could only say "it's cool". The official color of the manufacturer (brand?) that deals with HONDA racing parts is irresistible.

Disadvantages
・For applications
Having said that, there are disadvantages, too. There is no problem even if you go out a little, but the biggest problem is "loadability". There is only one motorcycle verification under the pillion seat. It cannot be said that the thing cannot be put on in a flattering way. (lol) If you have more luggage on the road, you will be at a loss. However, I feel that it is somewhat unmatched to ride with a backpack on my back, and above all, it becomes difficult to ride. I think a seat bag would be the most effective, but this one doesn't look so good. It doesn't seem to be a good thing. (lol)
・For riding
I do not feel the lack of power, there is no problem because there is torque even at low speed! However, the CBR1000RR is still a big motorcycle. "Traffic jam" is a natural enemy. Nowadays, there are a lot of AT things of the four-wheeled automobiles, and it is not unusual to advance using only the creep phenomenon to go forward if you try to get stuck in a traffic jam. In such a situation, you can easily reach 10km/h or more by simply engaging the clutch with the 1st speed idling. A word from hell. It's not easy to balance the motorcycle because it's half-clutching and leaning forward. And considering the abrasion of the clutch, it is not good for mental health. If it's summer, the fan starts to roar. There is no doubt that it is not good for the engine. Traffic is the only thing I'm not good at. (lol)
・For appearance
I solved it for myself, but at first, I couldn't help worrying about the dullness of the blinker. It's a stylish body line. "Why did you grow there?" A big turn signals have been growing with a hole in the position and the side cowl. In order to clear the safety standards, it was necessary to make a hole in the side cowl and a big turn signals. When the motorcycle standstill, the blinker worked its leverage, and the side cowl will be banged horribly. (cry)
It was quite unusual at the time, but it could have been perfect if it was a "blinker mirror". Is it something I don't have, right? (lol)

Summary
I want to ride a big motorcycle! I want to ride a super sport! But it seems to be hard to ride. And, for those who think to buy a new sports motorcycle, CBR1000RR is a motorcycle that I want to recommend by all means. It's a very good motorcycle that's fun to ride around on and of course, it's also very progressive. Also, I have already ridden over 90,000km, but I still feel no deterioration. (lol)
I always feel that it is a MADE IN JAPAN motorcycle. I want to pour a lot of love and ride out with a lot of motorcycle riders and make countless memories. I would recommend this motorcycle to anyone who wants to make a lot of memories with their motorcycle.
