Suzuki DJEBEL 250XC Owner Review

Here's a passionate review from "Onion," who rides a DJEBEL 250XC, from Webike Community "My Beloved Moto!" campaign! He told us about his in-play review of the DJEBEL 250XC, including the advantage and disadvantage, which he understands because he's the owner.

Brief self-introduction

  • Motorcycle history

That's a long time, I've been riding motorcycles in my own way.

  • How I usually enjoy my motorcycle?

I am enjoying it in various situations from shopping to touring with friends.

  • How long have you been riding this motorcycle?

Since 2008 up to present.

  • Motivation for purchase

Before this motorcycle, I got to know the fun of "riding on the ground" with DR250R which was given to me by an acquaintance, and I happened to buy this motorcycle which was sold cheaply.

Satisfactions / advantages

  • For purposes

Based on the DR250R, the DJebel 250XC is a "fun-to-drive off-road tourer" with a big 17-liter fuel tank, bright lights and a carrier as standard equipment, and the exterior of its sibling, the DR250R, can be installed without modification, allowing you to change it to suit your needs (DR250R exterior required).

  • For riding

The front and rear suspensions, which cost a good deal of money, and the air cooling made for this motorcycle. The single-cylinder engine makes it fun to drive from forest roads to winding roads (it's a 250cc single-cylinder, so the highway is adequate).

  • For appearance

It is often said "It is a big bike" by the stranger under the influence of a big headlight and a big fuel tank, although the style is different for each person.

Dissatisfactions / Disadvantages

  • For purposes

The DR fuel tank is slim and light enough for long distance use.

  • For riding

The only drawback in my opinion is that the carburetor sometimes overflows and makes it difficult to restart the carburetor when the motorcycle falls over while riding in the forest because it is not a negative pressure fuelcock type.

  • For appearance

It's also different for each person, but I think it's cool (although I replaced the lights with external ones...)

Summary

I think it's a good all-around motorcycle for those who "can only" own one motorcycle for various reasons. As I mentioned above, it can lead the normal flow of the highway although not as much as there is room for it, and the wind is not so painful if you install an external screen etc.

Furthermore, you can lower the motorcycle without adding anything else to it. It's equipped for those who are worried about foot grounding! It has a few small flaws, but if you're interested in it, it's only a thing that needs a little work by the rider.

Thank you, Onion, for a narrative review that shows your love for your beloved DJebel 250XC!
