A High-revving Machine that Still Looks Cool After All These Years, KAWASAKI ZXR250 Type-1 [Recommended Motorcycle]

Motorcycle Reviews

Light customization is a moderate motorcycle.

When it comes to Kawasaki's four-engine 250cc motorcycles, the ZX-25R is getting a lot of attention, but personally, I can't get rid of this one either. The round-eyed double headlight and the angular tail cowl. It's hard to tell what it is at first glance, but it's got that duct-like look that makes it so appealing. The visual impact is something that modern motorcycles don't have.

By the way, this duct is not called Ram Air, but K-CAS (Kawasaki Cool Air System). It runs from the front cowl to the tank and directs air to the top of the cylinder head. By doing so, it prevents the engine temperature from rising and prevents heat loss.

As for the engine performance, it's a super high-revving motorcycle, and it's in the red zone from 19,000rpm. This engine has been carried over to the 250cc Naked Barrios, and after riding my first motorcycle in my life, I became obsessed with the idea that motorcycles have to be cranked.

Well, I chose the ZXR250 [Type 1] listed by Artemis Motorcycle. The year itself is old, but it has only traveled about 20,000 km, so it should still perform well. The front blinkers have been changed and the motorcycle has been fenderless. If you want to drive it with a normal look, you will be satisfied. Of course, for those who want to customize the motorcycle to their own specifications, there are still a lot of things that can be done, so the excitement never stops. The exterior shows some scratches on the left side cowl, but other than that, it looks very clean!

At 480,000 yen, the ZXR250 is a bargain, isn't it? With characteristics and style not found on modern motorcycles, this one is my favorite!

By the way, if you look at the footing information of Webike users on the ZXR250, 100% of riders in the 166-170 cm range say they have "sticky feet". Good point about the good footing too.

The number of motorcycles on the market is decreasing, so if you're interested in this model, contact us as soon as possible!
