Suzuki Address V125S Limited Owner Review
Introduce 5sonline passionate story about his riding experience with his beloved motorcycle, ADDRESS125S, from Webike Community's "My Beloved Moto" campaign.
He told us about his review of the ADDRESS125S, including its advantages and disadvantages, which he knows well because he's the owner.
Brief self-introduction
Motorcycle history and how I usually enjoy my motorcycle.
I've been around since I was 17 years old, 20 years ago, and bought the ADDRESS the year before last. I had an 8-year break in the middle of the project, so it's been about 12 years.
How long I've been riding this motorcycle?
I bought it last year and still have it today with about 6,000km.
Motive for purchase
I thought I was wasting time commuting by bicycle, train, and bus, so I held a family meeting and got permission without any special conditions. The commuting time has been reduced by about an hour, and I am looking forward to commuting.
Satisfaction and Strengths
For applications
As a 125cc scooter, it is known as a commuter scooter, so I bought it for commuting purposes only. It's very nimble to drive. The quickness of being able to change directions to a side road course as soon as you get stuck in traffic or something is amazing. It's light, easy to handle, and loaded with almost no complaints.
For riding
It's a 125cc motorcycle, so I think the acceleration is pretty good.
For appearance
As you can see, it has a handlebar cover. There's also a standard grip heater, and in the winter, your hands are warm if you wear gloves. I know it sounds tacky, but it's surprisingly effective.
As mentioned in the complaints section, we are implementing a livery change.
Personally, I think SUZUKI is blue! I didn't accept any other color on the Suzuki motorcycle because it was too strong. In addition, I changed the mirrors to blue options.
Dissatisfaction and Weaknesses
For applications
My biggest complaint is that the latest fad for helmets doesn't fit in the helmet housing. I have a SHOEI X-14 and can't seem to get it in at all. I bought more Z-7 helmets for the ADDRESS. It's still just barely there, so I feel like I could complain if they changed the shape of the helmet housing space a bit more.
For riding
The motorcycle is too light to drive, so I have to tilt it a little bit in the curves a lot, but I always hear a scuffling sound around the side cowl. I don't feel like I'm knocking it down like that, but if the ride height was a little higher, it would solve the problem. The other thing I would like to see is a little more stopping power since the rear wheels are drum brakes. When it rains and I have to brake suddenly, I have to apply the front wheel as well, so I always feel slippery and it's always a bit chilly.
Another downside, and that's the shimmying that occurs when you let go of your hand. I think it's a weighting issue, but maybe it's a structure that's not weighted forward? As soon as I let go of my hand, it comes rattling.
For appearance
Because the coloring doesn't have a setting like blue. Initially reluctant to buy it. I bought it from a friend's motorcycle shop, but in a show of selfishness, I have replaced the entire cowl of the V125SS and changed the livery. It also has a heated seat, so it is a little bit for old people's specification? You don't have to do that much if you know what you're doing. I think people will think that this is a good idea. Since some of them are young, I'd still like to see manufacturers increase the color variation, like blue or white.
Also, the handlebar covers inevitably fade away, so sometimes I wipe them down with silicone spray to bring back the black sheen. I wish I had changed the material because I wanted it to be different. (The picture is half done.)
When you drive on a big highway, it looks like a moped, or maybe because it looks like a moped, it's not considered to be a 125cc motorcycle. If you are driving a trendy PCX, you might think it's a medium-sized moped.
Summary
It is easy to start and ride as it's called Fast Commuter or Commuter Limited Express. Rainy days are no problem, so if you're looking for a compact scooter in 125cc, you should definitely consider it. Because of its popularity, theft seems to be a common occurrence, and I have insurance for it.
