Kawasaki ZRX1200 Daeg Owner Review
Introducing Fangre's passionate story about his riding experience with his beloved motorcycle, ZRX1200 DAEG, from Webike Community's "My Beloved Moto" campaign.
Fangre told us about his review of the ZRX1200 DAEG, including its advantages and disadvantages, which he knows well because he's the owner.
Brief self-introduction
Motorcycle history
I've been riding for almost 30 years. I bought my first Kawasaki ZZR250 when I was 18 years old and then a VFR400R (NC30), but the motorcycle was scrapped in an accident and I bought a VFR400R again. It's still a used motorcycle at a high price. The next acquired a limited release and purchased CB1300 Superforth (SC40). It was the first big motorcycle and the chassis was quite big, but it was easy to ride.
How I enjoy my motorcycle daily?
I enjoy the occasional touring, motorcycle polish and if I can save up, I enjoy doing some customization.
How long have you been riding this motorcycle?
It's been about 3 years and 8 months.
Motive for purchase
I've always wanted a ZRX1200 DAEG, and I was looking for a used motorcycle, but when I heard that the final edition was going to be released due to the end of production, I took the plunge and bought a new one.
Satisfaction and Strengths
For applications
I don't use it for commuting or shopping at all, but it is a great tool for touring without any complaints. Because the position is easy, it is easy to touring a long distance, and the seat is soft, so your butt won't hurt.
For riding
It is very powerful in the city and on the winding roads with its ample power and torque.
For appearance
The bright lime green and final edition are very clean with an overcoat clear. The gauge area is very simple but the analog gauges are easy to read. There is no water temp gauge, but I wish the water temp and fuel gauge were analog needle type.
Dissatisfaction and Weaknesses
For applications
My only complaint is that I really like the Wrinkle paint on the head cover, but the heat from the engine in the summer is hell when waiting at a traffic light.
For riding
Once I got used to it, it didn't bother me at all, but at first, the clutch felt really heavy.
For appearance
I guess that's the part that makes it look a little compact for a big motorcycle.
Summary)
It's a big motorcycle, so it's big and heavy, and the clutch is heavy for its hydraulic pressure, but I think it's a relatively easy motorcycle for beginners to handle. If you're thinking of buying one, used motorcycles are the only way to go, but I think there are plenty of them. You can look for a stock one or a customized one.
There are plenty of custom parts available, so it's a great place to start customizing your own motorcycle.
Thank you, Fangre, for a narrative that really shows the love of the ZRX1200 DAEG!
