Motorcycle Reviews

Here are the top 10 selling new models to review for 2020!

New models have already been announced by various manufacturers for 2021, but we'd like to take a moment to review the most popular motorcycles of 2020 by displacement category. Here's a look at the most popular motorcycles of 2020 by displacement, starting with the top 10 to the top 6 in the 250cc class and below, based on the 2020 motorcycle sales figures announced in the January 1 issue of the Motorcycle News!

The 250cc class has seen the introduction of some hot new models, but what motorcycles really made the top 10?

No.10 Honda CB250R 2,225 units

The CB250R, the 250cc model of the new CB series with the "Neo Sports Cafe" concept, ranked 10th! The key to its popularity is its full range of 250cc equipment, including the round, single-eye headlight that gives it a café feel just like the concept, an engine similar to the CBR250R that is suitable for neo-sports, upside-down forks, and radial-mount calipers.

No.9 HONDA CBR250RR 2,595 units

Coming in at No. 9 is Honda's 250cc supersport model, the CBR250RR, which is the first in its class to feature an electronically controlled throttle for multiple riding mode selections and the first of the current 250cc sports models to feature the now-trendy inverted front forks. It is still a popular model due to its racing achievements and sharp looks.

No.8 Yamaha Majesty S 2,625 units

The 155cc scooter Majesty S ranks in 8th place! It's one of the 150cc scooters that have been booming in recent years, and it's a popular class because it has the same mobility as the 125cc class and is versatile enough to ride on highways. With the Corona overhaul, commuting to and from work is being reevaluated, and a versatile scooter is something you want to have!

No.7 SUZUKI V-Strom 250 3,079 units

In seventh place is the V-Strom 250, the spark that ignited the 250cc adventure class! Until a while ago, adventure models were associated with large displacements, but with the introduction of the V-Strom 250, small-displacement adventure models quickly became popular. The screen, hand guards, rear carrier, and other standard adventure features will motivate you to travel!

No.6 Kawasaki ZX-25R 3,089 units

It's no exaggeration to say that the ZX-25R is the most controversial motorcycle of 2020, and it's firmly in the top 10! With its 250cc four-cylinder engine for the first time in a long time and full of electronic controls that rival the flagship model, it was the center of attention even before it was released. With custom parts now being developed by various companies, we're sure this fever won't die down in 2021!

Here's the moto report on the ZX-25R!

What do you think of this roundup of the top 10 to 6 in the 250cc class? The much-talked-about ZX-25R has made it firmly into the rankings, but I personally thought it would come in a little higher.
