Husqvarna FE250 Owner Review

Introducing a passionate story of "Kengu" who rides FE250, from Webike Community's "My Beloved Moto" campaign.

He shared his review of the FE250 including the advantage and the disadvantage, which he understands well because he is the owner.

Brief self-introduction

Motorcycle history

My interest in motorcycles started in junior high school when a teacher at the cram school I attended let me ride on the back of his motorcycle. Then I entered a vocational school. I met a teacher who was a motorcyclist there, and after talking with him, my enthusiasm for motorcycles was reignited, and I immediately went to a driving school near the school and got my license.

My first motorcycle was a V-twin Magna (Honda). The next was a Cygnus X (YAMAHA), which was given to me by a friend's relative at a reasonable price for commuting. When I started to earn a decent salary, I decided that I wanted to have my own motorcycle, so I spent my days looking for a motorcycle on the Internet. Impressed by the form of the motard, I bought a D-TrackerX (Kawasaki).

Then I decided to step up to a bigger motorcycle and got my big motorcycle license. My goal was to get a 701 supermoto (Husqvarna) but I guess riding a motard makes you want to go off-road.

In the end, I didn't go for a big motorcycle, but traded in my D-Tracker and bought a FE250 (Husqvarna), which is easy to handle and doesn't require a vehicle inspection.

At first, I thought that I would not be able to afford such expensive foreign motorcycles, but I was fortunate to have a good motorcycle shop, and I have managed to maintain the motorcycle by asking them to do most of the maintenance and so on (although it has only been two months since I bought it). I've only ridden it twice on forest roads and once on a track, but I'm having a great time.

Motive for purchase
The exterior design and other parts are cool, the power is overwhelming, the seat height is high (I like it high), and I can show off to others (actually, I couldn't because I'm not good at driving).

Satisfaction

  • The FE's power allows it to go off-road, which would probably be impossible with other motorcycles.
  • On-road is also relatively good (It has TC, so you can attack more safely than D-Tracker.)
  • I can't say enough about the looks of the motorcycle, the logo is cute.
  • I am satisfied with everything.

Dissatisfaction

  • The price is a little expensive (I can't help it, though, because all the parts are on good ones.)
  • I think I like the look of the one before 2019.

Summary

I think it's perfect for off-road beginners because it's a little easier to get around than other motorcycles, but still has that same fun. And I'm sure it's a great motorcycle for experienced riders as well. Please help me if we meet somewhere off-road.

Thank you, Kengu, for a narrative that shows so much FE250 love!
