Introducing a passionate story of "Suzune Ron" who rides CBR600RR, from Webike Community's "My Beloved Moto" campaign.
He shared his review of the CBR600RR including the advantage and the disadvantage, which he understands well because he is the owner.
Brief self-introduction
Motorcycle history and how I usually enjoy my motorcycle.
I've been riding for about 8 years. I usually enjoy touring down the road, but
basically, I like riding, so I'm not saying that I'm looking for sights and specialties.
The main thing is to find a road that feels good to ride on.
How long I've been riding this motorcycle?
I bought it and drove it for about three years, but I got addicted to net games, so I stopped riding it. The next thing I knew, the motorcycle was out of inspection, the battery was dead, and it was left in a state of inactivity. This year, I finally got up the courage to fix it and started riding again!
Motive for purchase
I used to ride an FTR223, but the lack of power wasn't enough for me. I wanted to see if I could ride a motorcycle with a cowl anyway. At that time, except for old replicas, only the Ninja250R was available in the 250CC class with the SS.
On the other hand, the 600SS was in a boom period, so I got a large license and
I was looking for an affordable used 600SS and found this motorcycle just in my budget. I hurried to the store and decided that if I missed this opportunity, I might not be able to get it.
Applications
Basically, when it's a sunny day, I go out for a ride by myself. As I mentioned at the beginning, I like to enjoy moving rather than going to my destination. I look for a road that I think I can ride comfortably on a map, and then actually go there to check it out.
Satisfaction
For applications
It needs to go to the track to show its true value, but there is no problem to ride in touring. At first, I was confused by the forward-leaning posture, but I guess this is the part where you can get used to it. Thanks to the cowl, the running wind hardly hits the body, and I thought it would be less fatiguing than a naked motorcycle that is constantly exposed to the wind.
For riding
It's been used by WSS as a base vehicle for years. There's no reason for it to be bad. It's a lightweight model in this class, and since it's a Japanese model, the power is also reduced, so there is no peaky part.
For appearance
I can't say enough good things about it! Although it has become to feel old compared to the recent motorcycles. It's so picturesque from every angle, I can't get enough of it!
Dissatisfaction
For applications
When I stop on the road and leave the motorcycle, I can't help but notice the motorcycle. When I'm blazing a trail and get lost on a narrow forest road or something. I'm not as light as the FTR223, so it's hard for me.
For riding
The performance of the motorcycle completely outweighs the skill of the rider. I always feel like I'm being ridden. It takes a lot of self-control on the street, and with only a few times a year on the track. I don't have the skills to use all the performance. I always feel like I have too much power. I'm positive that if it takes me that long to get used to it. If it takes me that long to master the motorcycle, I'm sure I can enjoy it for a long time.
For appearance
Not at all on this one!
Summary
I think riders who choose this motorcycle will be divided between those who value performance and those who value looks. But if you don't regret it, I think you can do it either way! Putting logic aside (or rather, I haven't been able to ride enough to talk about it.). I think it's best to ride what you feel like riding!
Thank you, Suzune Ron, for a narrative that shows love for the CBR600RR come through loud and clear!
