Owner: jin14

From the MYBIKE that has been posted on the Webike Community, here is the motorcycle that "jin14" is currently riding, a Hayabusa X-1.

The new Hayabusa for 2021 has become a hot topic, but it is a famous story that Yoshimura built a racer based on the first generation Hayabusa when it was released and participated in the All Japan Road Race Championship and Suzuka 8 Hours. However, it has been more than 20 years ago. Some of you may not know about it.

The first Hayabusa made its debut in 1999, and Yoshimura immediately began production of the Hayabusa racer. Development proceeded at a rapid pace and was completed in time for the opening round. At the time, the highest class of All Japan Road Race was Superbike, and the Hayabusa racer ran in the X-F (X-Formula) class, mixed with 750cc four-cylinder machines, so it became a big topic of conversation.

With its overwhelming power, it was faster than the works machine on the straights! The fans were so excited by such a sight that the Yoshimura Cyclone for Hayabusa was sold like hotcakes after achieving 16th place overall in the 1999 Suzuka 8 Hours and 6th place overall in 2000.

Yoshimura released various parts for Hayabusa such as muffler, and the best of them is the complete vehicle, Hayabusa X-1. The original style of the racer was recreated for public road use, and the engine was Yoshimura tuned to produce 193PS. The engine was Yoshimura tuned and produced 193PS. The weight of the motorcycle was less than 200kg in dry value.

The Hayabusa X-1 is a treasure machine, limited to 100 units. As "Jin14" wrote, it's a motorcycle you can't buy even if you want to.

From MYBIKE Comments
Reason for purchasing
An amazing machine that can be ridden on public roads while utilizing the features of a race machine! Enjoy short-distance touring in the neighborhood and enjoy the feeling of ownership! This is the motorcycle that Yoshimura made race machine from Hayabusa, so I want to compare with Hayabusa, but I haven't ride Hayabusa so much...
Advantages
For my style, it's just so cool! It's pretty easy to ride, and it's just fast! It's got a massive presence of low-speed torque and a high rev range that's not half bad, and it's fun to ride! It's the kind of motorcycle that actually makes you want to ride on the track!
Disadvantages
It's not a motorcycle where you can look for faults or complain! I think only the pro racers of the day can complain about a motorcycle that has won 8 endurance races on the track.
Advice
I think it's a motorcycle you buy for a sense of ownership and self-satisfaction, with the understanding that if anything goes wrong it'll be pretty expensive, so nothing to say about that! If you can afford it, go for it! It's just an amazing motorcycle. It's a motorcycle that was sold in 2000 in a limited edition of 100 worldwide, so how many of these motorcycles are actually out there? It's a motorcycle you can't buy even if you wanted to!
