Z1 (900SUPER4) 1973 (900cc)
Owner: Rover.

From the MY BIKE posted in the Webike community, here is the motorcycle that "Rover" is currently riding, a Z1 (900SUPER4).

Kawasaki has officially announced the Z900RS SE, which will be released in Japan on November 12. While the Ohlins rear suspension, Brembo brake calipers and other luxurious features are the talks of the town, the "yellow ball" color used for the first time on the Z900RS is attracting a lot of attention. The motif was the livery of the first generation Z1, which was available in the European specifications.

That is Mr. "Rover's" Z1, the first generation made in 1973. The first-generation model is called "Fireball" because of its main color scheme of orange and brown fireball colors. In contrast, this one is called "Yellow Ball" because of its yellow and green combination. Most of the Z1s reimported to Japan come from North America, so the Yellow Ball is a very rare color scheme that was released in Europe.

Rover's Z1 has a long rear fender, and the reflector part of the suspension is buried, and the feature of the European specification is left. The coloring is also yellow ball, so it might be super rare original. In addition to that, the motorcycle has been customized with Hayashi Racing cast wheels that are thought to be from that era, bringing the style of the 1970s to the present.

In 1973, the Z2 (750RS) was released in Japan in a fireball color!

Most recently, yellow balls were added to the Zephyr series in 2005. This is the Zephyr 1100 in black and yellow.
