HONDA ADV150 2020 (149 cc)
Owner: copo
From among the MY BIKES posted in the Webike community, I'd like to introduce "copo's" current motorcycle, ADV150.
The ADV150 was released with the concept of city adventure. With the rugged looks reminiscent of its big brother X-ADV, and the good nature of the engine and frame based on PCX150, it became so popular that the orders exceeded the annual sales plan right after its release. It has the style of the adventure model that can be said to be popular in recent years, the size that is easy to use in any place, and it is an all-mighty machine that can run on the highway when it is necessary.
Mr. copo was attracted by the stylishness and coolness of ADV150, and he also expected to buy it not only for commuting but also for his hobby. Not only the design that satisfies the sense of ownership, but also the driving performance, straight-line stability and position are perfect. Even though it's a scooter, it has a fat bar, which contributes to its maneuverability in corners. Other than that, the displacement is 150cc, so when you're tired of traveling long distances down the road, you can use the highway to get around with ease!
The front brake does not seem to work as well as expected. He also mentioned that the center stand is not positioned properly, and depending on how far it is down, the center stand may rub. The outside temperature is displayed on the meter, but there is a slight difference from the actual temperature.
Since it's the same size as a 125cc class motorcycle, it's perfect for commuting, riding around, and shopping, and it's a great all-around motorcycle with good fuel economy that can be ridden anywhere. In addition, not only is it packed with functional equipment, but it also comes with a top case, which Copo says allows it to be enjoyed in a way similar to a travel motorcycle. If you're looking for the same kind of fun, you should definitely check out the ADV150!
Reason for purchasing
It is stylish and cool.
I thought I could live with my main purpose of commuting and my hobby.
Advantages
The chassis is light but surprisingly straight and resistant to disturbance, with excellent absorption, especially in the front suspension. (I wonder if the tires are good?).
The fat bar position is great! Easy to hold down in the corners and chic.
After all, it's easy to get there using the expressway. Graceful design! Although it is small, it will satisfy your sense of ownership.
Disadvantages
Isn't the position of this blinker SW more puzzling than the rider who has been riding a motorcycle for many years?
I tend to lag behind in operation and can't sound the horn in a hurry. (I still can't get used to it)
Maybe until I hit it? I thought so, but the front brake doesn't work as well as I thought. (Have you gotten used to it now after 3000km? It seems to be working well.)
The outside air thermometer is displayed about 2 to 5°C higher.
The center stand is low for the height of the vehicle and when banking quickly, the center stand grounds quickly.
The throttle grip should be longer. It is difficult to operate depending on the glove because of the position of the lever.
Advice
The 125cc size is perfect for shopping, commuting, etc. The lightweight and high fuel efficiency of the 125cc size makes it ideal for short rides, and since the 150cc size is a light motorcycle that can be used on any road (highways, motorways, etc.), short trips are no problem at all.
If you feel tired, you can ride on the highway without hesitation, right?
In addition, the equipment is functional and has a class-leading luxury feel, and with the addition of the top case, the motorcycle can be enjoyed as a travel motorcycle, not just a scooter.
