Triple-layer nickel plating less liable to be discolored with good corrosion resistance
Force-design, an exterior parts manufacturer using carbon and FRP, has released a plated meter cover for CB1100.
It uses not plating (vapor deposition, sputtering, etc.) but triple-layer nickel plating, which each two-wheeler manufacturer uses, less liable to be discolored with good corrosion resistance. The mounting bolts are also plated with triple-layer nickel to bring a sense of oneness.
This product is bolted on like the OEM parts. It can be installed on the vehicle body without adjustments. This is a product unique to force-design.
